Notice of Special Meetings/Closed Sessions
The previously scheduled Regular City Council Meeting is still scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall located at 317 South Madison Street, Whiteville, NC 28472.
In addition, the following Special Meetings and Closed Sessions are now scheduled:
*The Whiteville City Council will meet in a Special Meeting and a Closed Session on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall located at 317 South Madison Street, Whiteville, NC 28472.
*The Whiteville City Council will meet in a Special Meeting and a Closed Session on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall located at 317 South Madison Street, Whiteville, NC 28472.
*The purpose of these two Special Meetings/Closed Sessions is for Council to discuss matters related to the interview process for the position of City Manager, in accordance with NCGS 143-318.11(a)(6).
