The City of Whiteville Police Department is currently seeking qualified applicants for its Auxiliary Police Division. All applicants must have obtained a high school diploma (or its equivalence): must be NC BLET certified and meet Training & Standards as established by the State of NC. Auxiliary Police Officers are subject to the direction, supervision, and control of the Police Chief and shall assist regular members of the Police department in the enforcement of law and maintenance of peace and order when called to active duty by the Chief of Police. Applicants are subject to pre-employment screenings and must possess a valid NC driver’s license.
